The MAX16140/MAX16142 are ultra-low-current, single channel supervisory ICs in a tiny, 4-bump, wafer-level package (WLP). The MAX16140/MAX16142 monitor the VCC voltage from 1.7V to 4.85V in 50mV increments and asserts a reset when VCC voltage falls below the reset threshold. The reset output remains asserted for the reset timeout period after the VCC voltage rises above the factory-set VCC_TH + VHYS. See the Selector Guide for available reset timeout options.
The MAX16140/MAX16142 include a factory-programmable manual reset input (MR) that can be configured to assert a reset when it receives a rising-edge, falling-edge, active-low, or active-high input signal. The MAX16140 features an open-drain reset output, while the MAX16142 features a push-pull reset output. See the Selector Guide for reset output configurations.
The MAX16140/MAX16142 are specified over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range and are available in a tiny 0.78mm x 0.78mm x 0.5mm, 4-bump WLP.
