Evaluation of Maxim Serializers/Deserializers with STP Cable

The MAXCOAX2STP-HSD coaxial-to-STP cable adapter kit allows operation of coax evaluation kits (EV kits) for Maxim serializer/deserializer products with STP cables assembled with Rosenberger STP connectors. See Table 1 for a list of products currently supported.

The adapter kit includes one Serializer adapter board with two coax FAKRA female connectors and a Rosenberger male STP connector; one Deserializer adapter board with two coax FAKRA female connectors and a Rosenberger male STP connector; and a 2m STP cable assembled with two Rosenberger female STP connectors. The photo in Figure 1, in the full data sheet, shows the adapter kit components.
