Evaluation of Maxim Serializers/Deserializers with STP Cable

Please check latest availability status for a specific part variant.

Description

The MAXCOAX2STP-HSD coaxial-to-STP cable adapter kit allows operation of coax evaluation kits (EV kits) for Maxim serializer/deserializer products with STP cables assembled with Rosenberger STP connectors. See Table 1 for a list of products currently supported.

The adapter kit includes one Serializer adapter board with two coax FAKRA female connectors and a Rosenberger male STP connector; one Deserializer adapter board with two coax FAKRA female connectors and a Rosenberger male STP connector; and a 2m STP cable assembled with two Rosenberger female STP connectors. The photo in Figure 1, in the full data sheet, shows the adapter kit components.

Key Features

  • Allows Utilization of Coax EV Kits for Evaluating Operation with STP Cables, Eliminating Need to Purchase a Set of STP Evaluation Boards
  • Only One Adapter Kit Needed to Use with Coax EV Kits for Different Products

Applications/Uses

  • Automotive Camera Systems
  • High-Resolution Automotive Navigation
