Applications


Digital Predistortion and PA Linearization

Our RF power linearizer (RFPAL) ICs feature a programmable analog signal processing architecture that effectively combines digital programmability with the simplicity, small size, and low power consumption of analog circuits. The benefit provided by this architecture is a pre-distortion linearization solution with very low power consumption, wide bandwidth performance, and a compact system footprint.

Femtocell Base Stations

A femtocell base station connects cell phone voice and data to the cell phone network, but it serves a smaller area, typically a home or office. A femto base station benefits the service provider because it offloads cell tower traffic. Subscribers benefit from superior signal strength, due to the proximity of the unit, especially where a cellular signal is weak or not available. Connection to the cell phone network is provided by VoIP over the Internet.

Our highly integrated single-chip femtocell transceiver family covers WCDMA bands 1-6 and 8-10, and cdma2000® band class 0, 1, and 10.
