Powertrain options in automobiles and other vehicles have proliferated in response to high fuel prices and a focus on air quality. Applications


Battery Management

Today’s hybrid and plug-in electric automobiles use large battery packs for electromotive energy storage. The battery packs are constructed of multiple hundreds of individual battery cells. Each of these battery cells must be managed in order to keep the battery pack in optimal condition and to optimize energy storage.
