Webinar: Specification and Selection of Analog Switches and Multiplexers

Abstract: First developed in the early 1980s, integrated analog switches today often form the interface between analog signals and a digital controller. This tutorial explains the theoretical basis for analog switches and describes some key parameters and their measurements.

In recent years integrated analog switches have evolved to offer better switching characteristics, lower supply voltages, and smaller packages. With many performance options and special functions integrated in the newest analog switches, the well-informed applications engineer can usually find the right part for a particular application.
