MAXSafe Technology–Simplify Diagnostic Monitoring

MAXSafe™ technology is an integrated isolated micropower architecture developed with Maxim Integrated’s proprietary isolation technology. It provides an isolated DC-DC micropower which can power up internal chips or a simple field-side circuit in a system. This technology removes the complexity and cost of external isolated DC-DC power supply when the power demand in the field side is small. It also enables space savings by eliminating the supply. In addition, MAXSafe architecture provides a complete self-diagnostics on the isolated field side by monitoring the status of the circuitry and communication over the isolation barrier. The MAXSafe family offers the benefit of space savings, increased channel density and ensure robust communication with added diagnostics and monitoring on the isolated field side.
