How often do you pop onto YouTube to seek help in solving some problem? Clogged kitchen sink? Someone has made a video on how to get the drain flowing again. Car headlight needs a new bulb? There's a video for that. So, naturally, Maxim has a series of videos filled with tips and tricks on everything from "What is IO-Link?" to performing ECDSA authentication using the DS28E38 evaluation kit.
Our "In the Lab" playlist has more than 30 different videos, and we're regularly adding new ones to the list. Here are a few highlights, and I encourage you to bookmark and visit the playlist to find topics relevant to your design projects.
How to Set Up the DS28E38 Evaluation Kit and Perform ECDSA Authentication
In this video, you'll learn more about how you can protect your embedded designs from invasive attack with the DS28E38 DeepCover® secure authenticator. This security IC is based on our ChipDNA™ physically unclonable function (PUF) technology, which utilizes the naturally occurring random analog characteristics of fundamental MOSFET devices to produce cryptographic keys. The keys are generated only when needed and are never stored on the chip, providing strong protection of the design.
Wristband Health Monitoring Demo with MAX86141
Watch this video for a step-by-step demo of how to set up the MAX86140/MAX86141 pulse-oximeter and heart-rate sensor evaluation kit using our wristband demo platform.
Smart Force Sensor Human-Machine Interface (HMI) Demo
The MAXREFDES82# reference design features a next-generation, industrial, smart force sensor that senses the weight and center of mass for objects placed on the platform. Aside from being a smart force sensor, the compact design also can be used as a ruggedized touch interface with force sensing. Some example application areas include 3D human interface input devices, battery-powered instrumentation, and industrial control and measurement.
