Maxim Integrated Appoints Takahiro Hayashi as President and Representative Director of Maxim Japan
SAN JOSE, California—TOKYO, Japan December 5, 2018—Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: MXIM), has appointed Takahiro Hayashi as the company's President and Representative Director of Maxim Japan, effective immediately.
Hayashi has extensive experience in management, engineering and sales in the semiconductor industry. Located in Japan, he joined Maxim Japan in 2003 and, from 2009 to 2014, led business management for Maxim's automotive battery management IC and industrial power management IC development in San Jose, CA. Prior to joining Maxim, Hayashi worked at Macnica and Linear Technology (currently Analog Devices). Hayashi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kwansei Gakuin University.
