Senior Vice President, New Ventures
Chris Neil is the Senior Vice President of New Ventures, a new organization tasked with investigating, seeding, and building new businesses that leverage Maxim’s core semiconductor business and know-how.
Prior to this position, Chris managed the Industrial and Medical Solutions Group (IMSG) focused on Energy, Healthcare, Factory Automation, Financial Terminals, and Security solutions. These solutions included development of reference platforms for smart meters, ultrasonic water flow meters, wearable medical and fitness devices, mobile point-of-sale terminals, micro-PLC industrial control systems, wireless sensor networks, and other IoT devices. During his tenure in IMSG, Chris was responsible for the incubation funding of Bedrock Automation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Maxim Integrated focused on the development of secure industrial control platforms.
Chris Neil joined Maxim in 1990 and became a Vice President in 2006. Chris holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
