汽车环境对稳压器IC提出了较大挑战,在这样的工作环境下,IC需要工作在更宽的温度范围,承受更高的输入瞬变电压和干扰。除此之外,电源还必须耐受抛负载下的瞬态高压,虽然应对这一电池现象的保护电路通常由独立单元(抑制器、钳位、过压保护器)实现。以下列出的开关稳压器和LED显示驱动器含有已经通过AEC-Q100认证和正在认证的产品。

注:虽然这些产品针对汽车应用设计,他们同样可以用于其它设计。汽车产品通常需要较高的输入电压范围,工业电源同样如此。

信息娱乐系统、仪表、通用设备

绝大多数汽车产品工作在12V电池电压下,绝大多数直接由电池供电的稳压器要求可承受28VDC至40VDC的瞬变电压;而后续稳压器由于没有直接连接到电池电压,对其没有高压输入的规定。汽车环境下还大量使用LDO稳压器,它们将开关稳压器的输出作为输入电压,在较强的瞬变电压环境下提供干净的供电电源。

LED照明:车灯、内部照明、显示器背光

汽车车灯包括前车灯、尾灯(RCL)、日间行驶灯(DRL)等。此外,内部照明包括常规的车体内部照明以及仪表盘背光和显示器背光。Maxim提供业内领先、经过AEC-Q100认证的开关稳压器(SEPIC、buck/boost、升/降压),满足这些照明需求。
