说明

MAX1992/MAX1993脉宽调制(PWM)控制器提供高效率,出色的瞬态响应和较高的直流输出精度。该器件降压高电池电压,产生笔记本电脑所需的低压CPU核电源或芯片组/RAM电源。

Maxim专有的Quick-PWM™快速响应、固定导通时间的PWM控制模式可以轻松地处理宽输入/输出电压比,并对负载瞬变提供100ns的持续导通时间,同时保持相对固定的开关频率。其具备驱动较大同步整流MOSFET的能力提高了电源转换效率。通过串接在输出上的检流电阻,提供了电流检测,以保证可靠的过载和电感饱和保护。另一种方式,控制器还可以检测只流过同步整流器上的电流,或采用无损耗电感电流检测,以达到最低的功率消耗。

一次buck转换允许MAX1992/MAX1993直接从高电池电压降压,以达到尽可能高的转换效率;另一种方式,工作于更高开关频率的两次转换(降压电源来自其它系统电源,而不是电池)允许尽可能小的物理尺寸。

MAX1992提供CPU内核、芯片组、DRAM或其他低至0.7V的电源。MAX1993提供芯片组,以及那些要求动态可调输出电压的图像处理器内核电源。MAX1993提供用于有源终端匹配总线的跟踪输入电源。MAX1992/MAX1993采用24引脚薄型QFN封装,且具有可选的过压/欠压保护。
