说明

MAX17030评估板(EV kit)用于演示大功率、可动态调节的多相IMVP-6.5笔记本电脑CPU供电电路。这款DC-DC转换器能够对较高的电池电压和/或交流适配器电压进行降压转换,产生精确的低压CPU核电源VCC。MAX17030评估板符合Intel移动IMVP-6.5 CPU的瞬态电压要求,具有电源就绪指示信号、电压调节器热监测(/VRHOT)以及电源就绪输出(PWRGD)。MAX17030评估板包含MAX17030 3相、交错控制Quick-PWM™降压控制器和一个外部MAX8791单相同步MOSFET驱动器。MAX17030评估板具有增益可调节的有源电压定位功能,可降低功耗以及对大体积输出电容的要求。摆率控制器支持VID码之间的受控转换,提供受控的软启动、关断以及退出挂起模式的电压。精确的摆率控制可“及时”响应新的DAC设置,使流入和流出电池的浪涌电流降至最低。

两个专用的系统输入(/PSI和DPRSLPVR)可动态选择工作模式、有效相位数,优化CPU在工作状态和休眠状态的整体效率。

MAX17030提供欠压故障保护、过压故障保护以及热过载保护闭锁输出。器件还包含电压调节器电源就绪(PWRGD)输出、时钟使能(/CLKEN)输出和电流监测器(IMON)输出。

MAX17030提供0至1.5000V数字可调输出(7位片内DAC),电池输入范围为7V至20V。每相控制器设计可提供20A (热保护)连续电流以及22A峰值输出电流,总峰值输出电流高达66A。评估板工作在300kHz开关频率(每相),具有优异的电源和负载瞬态响应特性。

MAX17030评估板还可用于评估MAX17000、MAX17007A和MAX17028 DC-DC转换器。
