说明

MAX17009评估板(EV Kit)用于演示大功率、动态可调的双相笔记本CPU电源应用电路,可以为AMD®移动串行VID接口(SVI) CPU内核供电。这款DC-DC转换器可以从高压电池和/或交流适配器进行降压转换,获得精准的低压CPU核电源。MAX17009评估板满足AMD移动SVI CPU的电压瞬变要求,提供电源就绪指示信号、电压调节温度监测(/VRHOT)以及电源就绪输出(PWRGD)。MAX17009评估板安装了MAX17009双相、以固定频率交错工作的降压转换器,配置为独立工作模式,并提供一路基准缓冲器。这款开关调节器(SMPS)为两个独立的CPU核供电,基准缓冲器输出(NBV_BUF)设置北桥(NB)稳压器的稳压值,以满足CPU核以及NB电源的整体要求。

输出电压通过2线串行接口动态调节,允许SMPS和NBV_BUF独立编程为不同电压。可编程摆率控制器支持开关调节器VID码之间的受控转换,基准缓冲器的摆率通过外部电容设置。

软启动可有效抑制浪涌电流,软关断可以使输出电压在降到零的过程中不会出现任何下冲(负压)。MAX17009评估板包括有源电压定位功能并可调节增益,有助于降低功耗和对大尺寸输出电容的需求。MAX17009包括欠压故障锁存输出、过压保护和过热保护。另外,还提供电压调节器的电源就绪(PWRGD)输出。

完全安装并经过测试的印刷电路板(PCB)能够从7V至24V电池输入产生0至1.550V数字可调的输出电压(7位板载DAC)。每相可提供18A电流,两相共提供36A的输出电流。评估板工作在300kHz开关频率(每相),提供优异的电源和负载瞬态响应特性。评估板还带有Windows® 2000/XP兼容软件,为演示MAX17009的功能提供简捷的图形用户界面(GUI)。
