MAX17003/MAX17004是一款双路降压型开关电源(SMPS)控制器,采用同步整流,设计为产生电池供电系统的5V/3.3V主电源。在最低输入电压至26V最高输入电压范围内,固定工作频率和优化的交错工作可使输入纹波电流最小化。经过优化的40/60交错工作方式允许输入电压低至8.3V而不发生占空比重叠;而180°异相稳压器在输入电压降至10V时即发生占空比重叠。

输出电流检测提供峰值限流保护,可使用精密检流电阻或无损耗的电感DCR检测电流。低噪声模式可在轻载时保持高效率,并使开关频率处在音频范围以外。

内部固定5V/100mA线性稳压器为MAX17003/MAX17004及其栅极驱动器、外部常开负载供电。当主PWM调节器输出稳定之后,自举开关可自动旁路内部线性稳压器,提供高达200mA的电流。一路额外的可调线性稳压驱动器配合外部pnp晶体管和一个次级绕组能提供12V电源,也可直接由主电源供电,产生低至1V的低压输出。

独立的使能控制和电源就绪信号允许灵活的上电顺序控制。电压软启动逐步提高输出电压,以降低浪涌电流;而软关断则逐步降低输出电压,以防止出现负电压瞬变。MAX17003/MAX17004具有输出欠压检测和热故障保护,MAX17003还提供过压故障保护功能。

MAX17003/MAX17004提供32引脚5mm x 5mm薄型QFN封装。在需要线性稳压器不间断供电的苛刻应用中,底部裸焊盘有助于改善散热特性。
