电源保护和控制IC用于监测负载的输入电压,以确保供电电压在规定范围之内。如果检测到超限电压,保护和控制IC则对电压或电流进行调整,或关断电源,以保护负载不受损坏。如果输入电压意外反向,或者输出电压短路至较高电压轨,反向电压保护可防止系统损坏。

电源保护和控制IC提供从负载开关(例如USB电源开关)到完全可配置过流/过压及欠压保护等丰富的功能。专用保护和控制电路可管理冗余电源系统和浪涌电流,支持热插拔应用。
