电源管理IC (PMIC)是在单片芯片内包括了多种电源轨和电源管理功能的集成电路。PMIC常用于为小尺寸、电池供电设备供电,因为将多种功能集成到单片芯片内可提供更高的空间利用率和系统电源效率。PMIC内集成的常见功能包括电压转换器和调节器、电池充电器、电池电量计、LED驱动器、实时时钟、电源排序器和电源控制。

低功耗PMIC提供可穿戴设备、耳戴式设备、传感器和IoT设备等空间受限应用所需的高效率和小尺寸。高性能PMIC最大程度提高每瓦功率的利用率,同时提高系统性能,非常适合于计算密集型平台,例如片上系统(SoC)、FPGA和应用处理器。
