MAX17047采用Maxim ModelGauge™ m3算法,整合了库仑计数器的短期高精度、高线性度特性和基于电压的电量计技术的长期稳定性等优势,温度补偿提供业内领先的计量精度。ModelGauge m3消除了库仑计的累计失调误差,与任何单纯的电压测量电量计相比,能够提供更高的短期精度。此外,ModelGauge m3算法没有通常库仑计算法中的突然修正,而采用小的持续修正。

器件在较宽的工作条件下自动补偿老化、温度和放电率并以mAhr或%提供精确的电量状态(SOC)。器件提供两个方式来报告电池寿命:减小的容量和循环次数。

器件提供精确的电流、电压和温度测量。使用一个外部热敏电阻和支持比例输入的辅助引脚来测量电池包的温度。一个2线(I²C)接口访问数据和控制寄存器。IC采用3mm × 3mm、10引脚TDFN无铅封装。
