说明

MAX8688是完全集成的数字电源控制和监控IC,可与任何现有的POL (负载点)电源一起工作,提供完整的数字编程。MAX8688可与基准输入、反馈节点以及输入使能连接,控制POL提供跟踪、排序、裕量调节以及动态控制输出电压等功能。

MAX8688具有一路高精度的12位模/数转换器(ADC)和两个差分放大器,用于精确监测电压和电流。内部集成12位数/模转换器(DAC)用于电源裕量调节,并可在全温范围内以0.2%的精度通过闭环系统动态调节输出电压。内部温度传感器提供附加的系统监测。

用户可编程寄存器提供灵活、精确的事件控制,例如:延迟时间和过渡时间、监测过压、欠压、过流、反向电流、过热故障,并可相应地处理报警。可编程闭环工作状态,确保MAX8688与任何现有的POL协同工作,提供精确控制和裕量调节。

MAX8688工作在PMBus™兼容通信协议。可以按照该协议或从Maxim网站下载(GUI)对器件进行编程,可大大加快开发进程。完成配置后,结果可以在上电时通过PMBus总线保存到EEPROM或装载到器件内。因此,可以利用MAX8688远程配置任何POL,省去了昂贵的调用或现场服务器。借助这一精确的电流测量和高分辨率电压控制解决方案,能够实现模块分流。MAX8688具有127个不同的地址设置,支持大规模系统的协调工作。MAX8688采用节省空间的24引脚、4mm x 4mm、无铅TQFN封装。
