MAX13171E与MAX13173E/MAX13175E一起组成完整的、引脚可选的数据终端装置(DTE)或数据通信设备(DCE)接口,支持V.28 (RS-232)、V.10/V.11 (RS-449/V.36、RS-530、RS-530A、X.21)和V.35协议。MAX13171E收发器可以传输高速时钟和数据信号,而MAX13173E用于传输控制信号。MAX13171E可以由MAX13175ET引脚可选的电阻匹配网络实现终端匹配。MAX13175E包含6个引脚可选的、多协议电缆匹配网络。

MAX13171E/MAX13173E内部电荷泵和低压差发送器输出级在单电源供电时能够提供与V.10、V.11、V.28和V.35兼容的逻辑电平。MAX13171E/MAX13173E具有无电缆连接模式,可禁用所有发送器和接收器输出(高阻),有效降低电源电流。短路限流和热关断电路避免接收器和发送器输出功耗过大。MAX13171E/MAX13173E在所有发送器输出和接收器输入端具有扩展的ESD保护。

MAX13171E/MAX13173E/MAX13175E工作于+3.135V至+5.5V电源电压范围,采用5mm x 7mm、38引脚TQFN封装。该系列器件工作于-40°C至+85°C扩展级温度范围。
