机架/刀片服务器应用

库存管理和资产跟踪
通过在每个模块中嵌入1-Wire存储器IC,编制整个服务器机架或刀片系统的设备目录。减少手动跟踪资产及库存管理的相关时间及人工成本。1-Wire EEPROM器件包括用户存储器和唯一的ROM ID(序列号)。

诊断
1-Wire可寻址EEPROM器件允许主机确定模块的顺序和物理位置。利用这些1-Wire器件:

  • 避免加载或其它服务导致的设备故障。
  • 识别在用和可用机架空间以及提高机架重新配置效率。

安全
资产移动或拆下时提供报警,提高数据中心安全性;这是1-Wire串行EEPROM器件的一大应用。

为进一步提高安全性,可将DeepCover安全认证器嵌入每个模块,提供安全认证,确保模块为OEM厂商的正版产品。

温度
