Tokyo is one of the largest, cosmopolitan urban areas in the world. High technology thrives here and we all focus on the cutting edge of new electronic designs. We want to be where important business decisions are made, so we located our office here, in the heart of one of the world's most influential financial centers.
A total of 70 employees work in our office and we have close business relations with our other sales office in Osaka, Japan. Some of us sell and others support sales. We sell into many different markets, so we are collaborating with engineers and business teams at our headquarters in the U.S. most every day. We also oversee localized marketing and ensure quality assurance (QA) for our customers. We manage regional human resources (HR) and finance, and juggle other functions as needed. Our country manager describes us as "hard working," and says that the Japanese culture blends well with Maxim values. We work closely together and are busy and productive every day. We understand what it means to be "One Maxim."Our site is in Shinagawa City in the complex of Osaki New City, which is a compilation of office buildings, hotels, shops, restaurants, and a museum. We are conveniently located only two minutes walking distance from the JR Osaki train station, which is only one stop away from the Shinagawa station, a major interchange for several railroad lines. Weather permitting, we can see Japan's highest mountain, Mt. Fuji, from our 20th floor office.

Our Osaka sales office is important because we engage with a very large number of customers here in Japan's third largest city. We founded our office in 2009 and now number eight employees. We all focus on some aspect of customer sales. We include sales account executives, technical applications engineers to support customers, and administrative office managers to keep the office running efficiently. With so many sales opportunities here, we are always busy and thrive on our collective success.
We also work very closely with our partner sales office in Tokyo, which is much larger and concentrates on different products and sales opportunities. When we share information and collaborate to solve a customer problem, we are "One Maxim."We are located close to the large city centers of Shinsaibashi and Namba, where there are several shopping centers, restaurants, and hotels.
